Breathotron – A “Smell” Cancer Machine

British scientists have invented a machine, the Breathotron, which can “smell” cancer. Scientific research indicates that cancer cells are different from normal cells and cancer cells generate different odor from that of normal cells. The Breathotron can detect cancer by analyzing the chemical composition of the patient’s breath, which could show they have a tumor and give an earlier diagnosis than is possible now. Thus, instead of using our eyes, the Breathotron allows us to use an “enhanced nose” to try to sniff out the early stages of cancer.

Breathotron can help detect cancer in early stages when other traditional methods fail. This is a very exciting development which could dramatically influence the way cancer is diagnosed in years to come.
